The Association was founded in 1995 to represent the interests of employees and former employees in the electricity supply industry and their dependants who are, or were, participants in any of the electricity supply industry’s pension schemes.
Members appoint a Board of Directors who are drawn from a number of the Electricity Supply Pension Schemes.
The directors have a wide range of experience within the industry and a number are scheme Trustees.
The Association keeps in touch with its membership through regular newsletters, its website and each year has a General Meeting.

Currently the Association is working electronically as we cannot meet due to the Corona Virus Restrictions
The government are currently consulting on the RPI and the Pensions Regulator is also in a consultation regarding the management of DB schemes - we are formulating responses to these consultations.
